Madhubani painting is a style practiced in the Mithila region of Nepal and in the Indian state of Bihar. The art form focusses heavily on the two great epics of the Ramayan and the Mahabharat, recreating stories through vibrant colours and designs. The woman holds an important position in our culture, especially as most tribes are matriarchal in nature.
Dokra, locally known as Bharai kaam, is the art of sculpting brass with the ancient technique of wax casting. Practiced in West Bengal, Orissa and Madhya Pradesh, this metal craft finds different forms of expressions, each art form uniquely different in style and manifestation from the others.
Both styles are combined here. Along with that, we aspire to adorn your desk with art, to accentuate your life with colour.
