Hand painted Glass Madhubani  Lamp

Madhubani painting is a style practiced in the Mithila region of Nepal and in the Indian state of Bihar. The art form focusses heavily on the two great epics of the Ramayan and the Mahabharat, recreating stories through bright colours and vibrant designs.
The woman holds an important position in our culture, especially as most tribes are matriarchal in nature. It is auspicious to carry a kalash as well, as the image emanates positive energy in any room.
This lamp is a combination of hand-painted glass and sturdy pinewood, giving an impression of grace and stability at the same time. The lamp is a wonderful addition to any room, matching with almost any colour scheme. It brightens any room it has been placed in.
